River Electric is looking for a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate. You’ll work closely with the Chef and Lead Cooks to maintain food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Prepare and cook menu items according to River Electric’s recipes and standards. Ensure all dishes are presented in an appealing and timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized workstation before, during, and after shifts. Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Assist with prep work, stocking, and organization of ingredients. Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service. Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages. Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency. Assist in cleaning duties, including equipment, dishes, and kitchen surfaces. Follow all kitchen policies, including portion control, waste reduction, and storage procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and safety standards. Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Team player with strong communication skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Food Handlers Certificate / ServSafe required

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the Hotel/ Restaurant.

River Electric busca un/a cocinero/a de línea cualificado/a y apasionado/a para unirse a nuestro equipo de cocina. Como cocinero/a de línea, será responsable de preparar platos de alta calidad en un ambiente dinámico, garantizando la consistencia y la excelencia en cada plato. Trabajará en estrecha colaboración con el chef y los cocineros/as principales para garantizar la seguridad alimentaria, la limpieza y la eficiencia.

Preparar y cocinar los platos del menú según las recetas y los estándares de River Electric. Asegurarse de que todos los platos se presenten de forma atractiva y puntual. Mantener el puesto de trabajo limpio y organizado antes, durante y después de los turnos. Seguir las normas de seguridad alimentaria y saneamiento en todo momento. Ayudar con la preparación, el almacenamiento y la organización de los ingredientes. Comunicarse eficazmente con el equipo de cocina para garantizar un servicio impecable. Supervisar los niveles de inventario y notificar a la gerencia sobre la escasez. Trabajar eficientemente bajo presión, manteniendo la calidad y la consistencia. Ayudar en las tareas de limpieza, incluyendo equipos, vajilla y superficies de la cocina. Requisitos y cualificaciones:

Se valora la experiencia previa como cocinero de línea o en un puesto similar en la cocina. Se valoran sólidos conocimientos de técnicas de cocina, preparación de alimentos y normas de seguridad. Capacidad para trabajar en entornos con un alto volumen de trabajo y un ritmo acelerado. Se valora el trabajo en equipo y las buenas habilidades de comunicación. Capacidad para permanecer de pie durante largos periodos y levantar hasta 23 kg. Disponibilidad para trabajar en horario nocturno, fines de semana y festivos, según sea necesario.

Se requiere Certificado de Manipulación de Alimentos / ServSafe.

Debido a la naturaleza cíclica del sector hotelero, es posible que los empleados deban trabajar en horarios variables para adaptarse a las necesidades del hotel/restaurante.

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in providing exceptional customer service. This position involves handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, answering inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests. A polished appearance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Oversee continental breakfast service.
  • Re-stock retail shop and keep items organized.

Reservations & Operations:

  • Manage bookings, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel’s reservation system.
  • Process payments, handle deposits, and ensure accurate billing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.

Communication & Coordination:

  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries via email or in person.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments for guest requests.
  • Monitor room availability and update status as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Mews, Toast) is a plus.
  • Availability to work nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours if necessary and lift 25 lbs.
  • Flexible with temperature fluctuations (eg., the welcome building is outdoors).

The Night Auditor oversees the front desk during overnight hours, ensuring the safety and comfort of our overnight guests . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has an eye for detail, and is committed to providing excellent customer service—even in the quiet hours. This position requires regular walks through the campground to ensure guests are adhering to hotel policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

  • Greet late-arriving guests and assist with overnight check-ins and early morning check-outs.

  • Provide information on hotel amenities, local services, and answer guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Hourly walks through the campground to ensure quiet hours are being enforced.

  • Respond to guest concerns or emergencies calmly and efficiently.

 

Audit & Operations:

  • Reconcile and balance the day’s financial transactions and prepare end-of-day reports.

  • Manage late reservations, cancellations, and adjustments in the hotel system.

  • Ensure front desk, lobby and office areas are clean, organized, and secure during the night shift.

  • Set up continental breakfast

 

Communication & Coordination:

  • Communicate overnight issues or guest needs to the appropriate departments nightly.

  • Coordinate with emergency services if necessary.

  • Monitor room availability and update systems accordingly.

  • Light maintenance (eg., trash, pool cleaner, bathroom checks)

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or night audit preferred.

  • Food handler certificate required.

  • Ability to work independently and stay alert during overnight shifts.

  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

  • Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Mews, Toast) is a plus.
